Pendant-Free Emergency Detection and Alerting for Danger-Aware Adults Seeking Uncompromised Personal Security

SMART PROTECTION

FOR 21ST CENTURY ADULTS

RoomMe is super easy to install and configure - it only takes a few minutes.

Step 1 of 2

Install the batteries into the sensor and stick it to the ceiling with the provided, damage-free double sided glue.

Step 2 of 2

Install the app, configure the times that the monitored adult is typically present in the room and the message that will be sent to a person when the adult does not enter the room at the set times.

That's it!

PRESENCE-BASED

EMERGENCY DETECTION

RoomMe is an innovative presence detection solution to monitor and detect when an adult does not enter a room at times the adult typically does - and alert someone about it.

RoomMe uses smartphones to detect presence.

Smartphone-based presence detection allows RoomMe to identify a specific person and avoid common presence detection errors of motion sensors such as inability to differentiate between a person and a pet or a fluttering curtain.

More and more adults are using their smartphone even when they are at home and taking the smartphone with them as they move from one room to another room where they intend to stay.

RoomMe does not require the smartphone to be on the monitored adult at all times!

All that is needed is that the RoomMe sensor will be installed in a room that the adult typically visits with the smartphone a few times throughout the day.

As you get older, you are exposed to more health problems and dangers.

More than one of four adults at the ages of 65+ falls every year. One of five falls causes a serious injury such as broken bones or a head injury.

Hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, hyperlipidemia and high cholesterol are just a few of the health conditions that can lead to loss of consciousness and even stroke.

EMERGENCY BUTTONS

NOT A COMPLETE SOLUTION

Most adults prefer to skip emergency buttons due to shame. But do emergency buttons even provide adults with the protection they need?

Adults who live alone are mostly afraid of cases where something will happen to them after which they will not be in a position to call for help or press an emergency button, if they have one.

What adults need is a solution that detects distress situations autonomously and is able to alert a person who can check if everything is fine with them
