Do I need to have an existing customer club to use mipo Retail?
No! Unlike other solutions that use the customer's location data (GPS) and know where the customer is at any given moment, our technology listens to Bluetooth signals that customers' phones transmit to identify that the customer is close to the store. Moreover - our platform does not have any identifying information about the customer except a first name (for personalization) and a phone number for sending messages.
How can the service be used given a SPAM prevention law?
mipo Retail requires the customer to consciously subscribe to proximity-based notifications. In fact, the service significantly lowers customers' SPAM feelings towards these messages since they are sent at relevant times rather than sporadic times.
I have an existing app with coupons. What do I need mipo Retail for?
Coupons offered on a regular basis do not have FOMO effect. Moreover, mipo Retail enables you to remind near store customers to open the app and check your current in-store promotions.
Are there other presence related that you offer businesses?
YES! The same Intellithings RTLS hardware that will be installed in stores for customer detection can be used for automatic employee time clock and energy saving.
Are there privacy risks attached to the service?
mipo Retail can only send coupons to customers that are registered to get marketing messages from you and have your club member app installed on their smartphone. An existing members club enables faster ramp-up of the mipo Retail service but it is not a must.
What if I do not have a club members app?
No worries - if you do not have an existing app, you'll get a branded app from us. For more details - please contact us.
What if I have an existing club members app?
No problem. We'll provide your app developer with a mipo Retail library that they will need to integrate into the app. This library makes sure that smart phones with your app installed transmit Bluetooth signals. For more details - please contact us.
