The starter kit is an excellent starting point for building an Intellithings RTLS system.

 

It includes all the hardware components you'll need for setting up a basic Intellithings RTLS system with 3 presence detection locations.

 

Expand the system anytime, by adding sensors and repeaters as needed.

RPS-002 ROOM-LEVEL PRESENCE SENSOR

RPS-002 is a room-level presence sensor capable of detecting the presence of up to 100 devices (smart phones and watches).

Important!

RPS-002 sensors requires a RPT-001 repeater within it's Bluetooth range (typically 15m / 45ft radius) to work. The repeater acts as a management hub, connecting RPS-002 sensors to the Intellithings RTLS cloud.

    • Typical use: Automation and energy saving.

    • Detection Technology: Bluetooth 4.0LE

    • Detection pattern: Directional, cone shaped facing downwards, with a base radius that equals the ceiling height.

    • Mounting location: Ceiling.

    • Maximum number of detected smart phones or watches: 100.

    • Maximum number of sensors in an Intellithings RTLS system: Unlimited.
